Marblo Build Notes 1 — The Closed Loop Release

Taking a mission through to a result

Building an app or improving a service involves assigning work, verifying it, reviewing it, and merging it alongside implementation. This Marblo update focuses on connecting those steps around a mission through the closed loop.

The orchestrator automatically assigns work, independent testers verify it, and reviews that have lingered receive a nudge. Work that passes proceeds to merge. People set direction and check results. The orchestrator, board agents, and system communicate to carry the intermediate steps forward.

This first build note introduces the features in this release. Part 2 follows the improvements to hypemarc.com from ticket creation through production deployment confirmation.

Eight new features in this release

FeatureWhat your team can do
Closed loopAutomatic assignment → independent tester verification → nudges for lingering reviews → merge on passing
Agent MosaicWatch working agents' terminals together on one screen in real time
OrchebrainMission summary cards, development→testing→review dots, autonomous progress limits, and intake rate
Web TabsOpen, read, fill, and test pages; delegate logged-in services without exposing cookies or passwords
Merge TrainGroup verified PRs into one CI run and apply them to the default branch
Multiple AI accountsConnect logged-in accounts without clicking and distribute work by remaining allowance
Risk-based independent testersHave a separate AI tester check important changes, including counterexamples, while minor changes pass quickly
Telegram conversations with the orchestratorGive instructions while away and receive progress and problem-cause reports

Two ways to see progress: Mosaic and Orchebrain

Agent Mosaic brings working agents' terminals onto one screen so you can watch them simultaneously in real time. When several agents are working, you can see their progress together rather than moving between terminals.

Orchebrain shows progress by mission. Summary cards and development→testing→review dots show how far a mission has progressed. Teams can also manage autonomous progress limits and intake rate.

Use Mosaic to watch terminal activity and Orchebrain to follow the mission as a whole.

Continue work through Web Tabs and Telegram

Web Tabs let agents open, read, fill, and test pages. You can delegate a logged-in service to an agent while cookies and passwords remain unexposed.

Telegram lets you give instructions to the orchestrator while away and receive reports on progress and the causes of problems. Conversations with the orchestrator connect your team's direction and result checks to the work.

Distribute work by remaining account allowance

The multiple-account feature connects logged-in AI accounts without clicking. It checks remaining allowance to distribute work, spreading usage across the accounts you connect.

Add independent verification for important changes

For important changes involving payments, permissions, or deployment, a separate AI tester verifies the work, including counterexamples. Minor changes pass quickly, with verification handled according to risk.

During the hypemarc.com improvements, changes to security paths were automatically handed to an independent tester. A separate verification role examined the work produced by the implementing worker.

Group verified PRs with Merge Train

Merge Train groups multiple verified PRs into a single CI run before applying them to the default branch. It reduces the merge queue and CI costs.

The closed loop connects assignment, verification, review, and merging. Merge Train groups verified PRs for integration.

Preview: Marblo CI for local verification

Marblo CI is an upcoming feature. It aims to reduce GitHub Actions costs through local verification and signed receipts. The preview includes three CI modes:

  • Off
  • Important code only
  • Always

The planned modes let teams choose how to apply CI. This preview is separate from the features introduced in this release above.

MARBLO

Running it beats reading about it

Marblo is a desktop app for macOS and Windows. Connect the CLIs you already pay for, run a different model per ticket in parallel, and approve before anything merges. The free plan runs one project, so you can check it today.
